The CNNTP help pages
- Read the first documentation of your newsreader. Usenet access is very simple. You need only the username and password from the Registry-mail.
Here are some error messages from our news server:
- Access denied to your node
- You have an incorrect user name or an incorrect password or your account is blocked.
In the last case: Contact the Support newshelp (at) cnntp.org.
In all other cases: Check your newsreader.
- Access denied to your node - user or host connection limit reached
- Only 4 parallel connections are allowed from the same host or the same account.
Please check your newsreader or your Internet connection.
Ask your provider if your connection over a proxy or a firewall is done.
- Access denied to your node - group connection limit reached
- Sorry, Server is full. Try again later.
- Winsock Error 10061 or 100060 WSAECONNREFUSED/WSAETIMEDOUT
- Sorry, Server is down. Try again later.
- No new aricles, no articles just header, no headers but articles.
- Verifying the newsreader, if you are a new user to CNNTP are.
If other news servers a larger Article Numbering for the latest news articles in a group
and you have only the server name in your newsreader change, then you'll no longer see new article,
because the newsreader Article 12463 waiting and we are number 25 as the last have. This is not a mistake.
Each server has its own article numbering and many of these same newsreader with numbering their own Article memory.
- In all other cases: Please check the server status in the members area or look after the last message in the news area of http://www.cnntp.org. The support team is available by newshelp(at)cnntp.net.
